Lizzie B. Angus, who now lives on the farm. Three children were born to them: Eva, married Ralph Rose; Angus, who was a motorman and was killed; and George, a reporter on the Democrat, Johnstown, is a graduate of Washington and Jefferson College. (2) Lizzie, married to Rev. Jacob Smith. She has one son, Lemon Smith. Mrs. Smith now lives on a farm in Somerset County, Pa., She was married the second time to Scott Bird. (3) Harry, deceased, was a member of the Somerset Lumber Company, Somerset, Pa. He married Rachel Callahan. They had no children. (4) Flora, married John A. Angus, and resides in Moxham, Pa. They have four children: Rev. Lyman; Samuel, a plumber; Henry, stock salesman; and Boidena, at home. (5) Anna, deceased, was the wife of Daniel Statler, organizer of the Johnstown planing mill, and later he organized the Moxham planing mill, and now active in the banking business at Moxham. They had six children: Charles, died in camp during the World war; Bessie, married a Mr. Eglof, a teacher; Rose, married Earl Hayes, a farmer in Somerset County, Pa; Susanna, wife of Doctor VonAult, a physician of Moxham; Sarah, married a Mr. Decker. (6) Miles A., president of the Somerset Lumber Company, married Rose Wright, and they have three children: Ruth, who married Carl Hoffman, now in the firm with his father-in-law; Forrest, at school; and Sarah, at home. (7) Leonard C., further mention of whom is made below. (8) Samuel, in partnership with his brother, Miles A., married Anna Carney, and they have two children: Bertha, married Jack Cassey; and Alice, married Paul Pickings. (9) Timothy L., a former school teacher and later in the retail lumber business, is now a traveling salesman, residing in Johnstown, married Clara Rhoads, and they have five children: Mary Elizabeth, Lawrence, Rachael, Henry, and Jane. (10) Cora, wife of Theodore Custer; a Pennsylvania Railroad employee. They have four children: Clair, a minister of the Evangelical Church; Noma, wife of David Shaffer; Alma, at home; and Evelyn, at home. (11) Lawrence, deceased, was a member of the Johnstown Mill Work and Lumber Company. He married Nellie Oldham and they had three children: Harold, Thelma and June, all at home. (12) Oliver, conducts a tin shop in Moxham. He married Lottie Hagerich. They have no children. (13) Ruth, died when seven years old. (14) Walter D., resides in Johnstown, where he is a member of the Johnstown Mill Work and Lumber Company. He married Nettie Gray, and they have five children; Marian, Esther, Margaret, Jean and Frederick.
