moted to engineer in which capacity he now serves. He is founder and president of the Riblett Auto Company, local agency for the Gardner automobile, East Conemaugh. Dr. Joseph P. Replogle, one of Johnstown's prominent young physicians and surgeons, who is a veteran of the World War, is a native of Pennsylvania. He was born in Westmont, Feb. 27, 1894, and is a son of Rinehart Z. and Mary (Furry) Replogle. Rinehard Z. Replogle, deceased, was born in Bedford County, Pa., April 24, 1846, the son of David Long and Rosanna (Zook) Replogle. David Long Replogle was a son of Reinhard Replogle, son of Reinhart Replogle, who came from France about the year 1750 and settled at Morrison's Cove, in Bedford County, Pa., where he was a pioneer farmer. Twelve children were born to Reinhart Z. and Mary (Furry) Replogle, as follows: Ella, Charles, Archie, J. Leonard, who lives in New York and St. Petersburg, Fla.; Rose, Preston, Phoebe, Robert, Roy, Herbert, Dr. Joseph P., the subject of this sketch; and Mary. Mr. Replogle died in 1917 and his widow resides at Westmont, Pa. Joseph P. Replogle was graduated from Johnstown High School in 1917 and from the University of Pennsylvania in 1919, where he took a special biological course. After serving as an interne in Lankenau Hospital, Philadelphia, he was associated in practice with Dr. J. B. Deaver of that city. In 1920 Doctor Replogle established office in Johnstown in |
