moted to engineer in which capacity he now serves. He is founder and president of the Riblett Auto Company, local agency for the Gardner automobile, East Conemaugh.
    In 1902 Mr. Riblett was married to Miss Catherine McGuire, the daughter of John McGuire. She died in 1904, leaving a son, George I., Jr., born in 1903. He is a student at Ashland (Ohio) College. Mr. Riblett was later married to Miss Alice Nolder, a daughter of George W. and Sophia Nolder. Mr. Nolder is deceased and his widow resides at Luthersburg, Pa.
    Mr. Riblett is a Republican, and is serving his second term as a member of the East Conemaugh City Council. He is also head of the police, highways and finance department. He is identified with the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers, Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen and Enginemen, Junior Order of United American Mechanics and the American Automobile Association. Mr. and Mrs. Riblett are active members of the Methodist Church and he is affiliated with the Knights of Pythias.




    Dr. Joseph P. Replogle, one of Johnstown's prominent young physicians and surgeons, who is a veteran of the World War, is a native of Pennsylvania. He was born in Westmont, Feb. 27, 1894, and is a son of Rinehart Z. and Mary (Furry) Replogle.
    Rinehard Z. Replogle, deceased, was born in Bedford County, Pa., April 24, 1846, the son of David Long and Rosanna (Zook) Replogle. David Long Replogle was a son of Reinhard Replogle, son of Reinhart Replogle, who came from France about the year 1750 and settled at Morrison's Cove, in Bedford County, Pa., where he was a pioneer farmer. Twelve children were born to Reinhart Z. and Mary (Furry) Replogle, as follows: Ella, Charles, Archie, J. Leonard, who lives in New York and St. Petersburg, Fla.; Rose, Preston, Phoebe, Robert, Roy, Herbert, Dr. Joseph P., the subject of this sketch; and Mary. Mr. Replogle died in 1917 and his widow resides at Westmont, Pa.
    Joseph P. Replogle was graduated from Johnstown High School in 1917 and from the University of Pennsylvania in 1919, where he took a special biological course. After serving as an interne in Lankenau Hospital, Philadelphia, he was associated in practice with Dr. J. B. Deaver of that city. In 1920 Doctor Replogle established office in Johnstown in
