On Thursday afternoon, about 1 o'clock Harry McHugh and two other men whose names we failed to learn, employees of the Blacklick Mining Co., of Twin Rocks, were working about the electric motor that furnishes the power for working the mines at that place, when in some way they got caught in the machinery. McHugh had one leg so badly macerated that it had to be amputated above the knee. While the other men were badly bruised but luckily escaped serious injury, McHugh, who formerly lived in Ebensburg and is well known in this vicinity . . .
