sale confectioner of Johnstown. In 1911 he went with Thomas & Sons, Johnstown, and four years later entered the employ of the Cambria Steel Company, with whom he was identified until 1919. He then was associated with the contracting firms of William Smith & Sons and Strayer & Company, Johnstown. Mr. Grush has been interested in the general mercantile business at Geistown since July, 1921, and has been postmaster of that place since 1924. He also operates a gasoline filling station in connection with his business.
    Mr. Grush was married June 29, 1912, to Miss Bertha Florence Fitt, the daughter of Henry and Minnie (Maulman) Fitt, natives of Germany and Pennsylvania, respectively. To Mr. and Mrs. Grush four children were born: Dorothy, Leora, Harry, Jr., and Ernest.
    Mr. Grush is a Republican, a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, and is highly esteemed in the community in which he lives.




    Raymond G. Husted is a veteran of the World war and ranks among the leading business men of Spangler, where he is cashier of the Keystone Bank. He was born at Morris Run, Pa., Augu. 16, 1887, and is the son of James F. and Mary S. (Bowen) Husted.
    James F. Husted, deceased, was a native of Tioga County, Pa., as was also his wife. He died in August, 1902, and his wife died in January of the same year. They are buried at Blossburg. Mr. Husted began life working on the old Tioga Division of the Erie Railroad, formerly known as the Corning & Blossburg Railroad. He was later employed by the Morris Run Coal Mining Company. He was a Republican and held several township offices. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. To Mr. and Mrs. Husted were born seven children, as follows: Fred S., former sheriff of Tioga County, lives at Wellsboro, Pa.; Charles A., general contractor, lives at Morris Run, Pa.; Jessie B., married Dr. W. A. Blair, a sketch of whom appears elsewhere in this history; Raymond G., the subject of this sketch; James E., engaged in government work at Washington, D. C.; and two children died in infancy.
    Raymond G. Husted spent his boyhood in Tioga County and received his education in the public schools at Morris Run, from which he was graduated in 1904. He completed a course at Mansfield State Normal School in 1907, after which he taught school at Morris Run, and after the
