    Mr. Bentz is a Republican. He was reared in the German Reforded Church and is now identified with the Evangelical Church at South Fork, Pa. He is affiliated with Cambria Lodge No. 278, F. & A. M., Johnstown; Williamsport Consistory; Jaffa Shrine; Kiwanis, Odd Fellows, Knights of Pythias; and P. O. S. of A. Mr. Bentz is thoroughly capable in his work and is intensely interested in every movement for civic improvement.




    C. Randolph Myers has gained prestige as one of the representative and successful attorneys of Cambria County. He was born in Ebensburg, April 8, 1889, and is the son of C. Randolph and Katherine (Rist) Myers.
    C. Randolph Myers, deceased, was a son of the late James Myers, former sheriff of Cambria County. Herman H. Myers, also a son of James Myers, and now deceased, was a prominent member of the Cambria County bar and former referee in bankruptcy for Cambria County. To C. Randolph and Katherine (Rist) Myers the following children were born: Marie L., married W. J. Welsh, of Miami, Fla.; James W., lives in Pittsburgh; Ursula, married Leo C. Kimball, lives at Ebensburg; and C. Randolph, the subject of this sketch.
    C. Randolph Myers attended the public schools of Ebensburg and prepared for his preliminary law examination at Altoona High School. He prepared for the final examination in Ebensburg by private tutoring and a course of study in a law office. He was admitted to the bar Aug. 3, 1915, and has since engaged in practice in Ebensburg. Mr. Myers was appointed referee in bankruptcy for Cambria County in 1918, and still serves in that capacity.
    On Nov. 9, 1916, Mr. Myers was united in marriage with Miss Margaret McDonald, the granddaughter of the late Hon. Robert L. Johnson and Gen. Joseph McDonald. Mr. and Mrs. Myers have tow children: Marjorie Elizabeth and Cyril Randolph, Jr.
    Mr. Myers is a director of the First National Bank of Ebensburg, and is attorney for the Vintondale State Bank, Vintondale, Pa.; Union Bank, Nanty Glo, Pa.; and the Citizens Deposit Bank, Gallitzin, Pa. He is a member of the Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus; and Kiwanis Club. Mr. Myers is well known and highly esteemed in the community in which he has spent his entire life.
