the daughter of Chandler Baldwin and Sarah Jane (Ricketts) Strunk, natives of Pennsylvania. Mr. Strunk died Aug. 2, 1898, and his wife died Aug. 2, 1918. To Mr. and Mrs. Williams were born four children: Eleanor Jane, married Lweyn Spicher, lives in Johnstown; Leonard J. Chandler, a student at Pennsylvania State College; Wanda Elizabeth, a student at Ebensburg High School; and Harriet Augusta, also a student.
    Mr. Williams is a Republican, a member of the Presbyterian Church, and is affiliated with F. and A. M. Summit Lodge No. 312, Mountain Forest No. 44 Tall Cedars of Lebanon, and he is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Ebensburg Y. M. C. A.




    Charles A. MacIntyre, register of wills, is a veteran of the World War and ranks among the prominent young men of Ebensburg. He was born near Houtzdale, Pa., April 2, 1893, and is the son of Robert and Mary (Henderson) MacIntyre.
    Both Robert MacIntyre and his wife are natives of Scotland. Many years ago they came to the United States and settled in Pennsylvania. They live at Dunlo, and are the parents of the following children: Sarah, married Evan Evans, lives at Dunlo, Pa.; Jennie, married William Park; Anna, married William Evans; James, lives in Texas; Mary, lives at Dunlo; William, lives in Ohio; Margaret, lives at Dunlo; Nell, lives in Ohio; and Charles A., the subject of this sketch.
    Charles A. MacIntyre spent his boyhood in Clearfield County, Pa., and attended the public schools. He began life as a coal miner and in June, 1917, volunteered for service in the World War. He served with the Sixth U. S. Engineers and was severely wounded on July 15, 1918, during the second battle of the Marne. He was discharged from a government hospital July 2, 1919, after which he settled in Ebensburg.
    Mr. MacIntyre was elected register of wills for Cambria County in January, 1920, and re-elected for a term of four more years in January, 1924. He lives at 213 Julian Street, Ebensburg.
    On Sept. 7, 1917, Mr. MacIntyre was united in marriage with Miss Iva Mae Harrison, the daughter of John William and Susanna (Salkfield) Harrison, of Dunlo, Pa. They have two children: Charles A., Jr., born in 1920; and Donald Russell, born in 1922.
    Politically Mr. MacIntyre is a Republican. He is a member of the United Brethren Church, Elks Lodge, Knights of Pythias, P. O. S. of A.,
