was graduated in 1907. He then entered Dickinson Law School, from which he was graduated in 1909. He has since engaged in the practice of law at Cresson.
    On Feb. 20, 1913, Mr. Hibbs was married to Miss Bertha E. Wenger, of Carlisle, Pa., the daughter of Chris G. Wenger. They have six children: Elizabeth, Robert, Lena, Helen, Irma and Christine.
    Mr. Hibbs holds membership in the Presbyterian Church, Rotary Club of Cresson, and the Phi Delta Theta fraternity. He is a Democrat.




    Dr. Bennett A. Braude, one of the well known physicians and surgeons of Cambria County, who has been successfully engaged in the practice of his profession at Johnstown since 1915, is a veteran of the World war. He was born at Shamokin, Pa., Nov. 21, 1889, and is the son of Abner and Rebba (Morningstar) Braude.
    Abner Braude, for many years a prominent and successful real estate operator of Philadelphia, now lives retired in Atlantic City.
    Bennett A. Braude attended the public schools of Shamokin, Pa., Bucknell University, and in 1914 was graduated from Jefferson Medical College, Philadelphia. After completing his interne work in Atlantic City Hospital, he was connected with the Philadelphia General Hospital until 1915, when he removed to Johnstown. For five years he was associated in practice with Dr. Hannan. His offices are located at 811 U.S. Bank Building. Dr. Braude is an associate surgeon on the staff of Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital.
    During the World war Doctor Braude was commissioned a first lieuTenant in the army in June, 1917, and the following August was called into active service, being stationed at Boston, Mass., and later Camps Green and Wadsworth. He served overseas with the Third Pioneer Infantry, which was part of the First Army, and served with the rank of captain. He was discharged in August, 1919.
    On April 5, 1917, Doctor Braude was married to Miss Rita Mills, of Nova Scotia. They have a daughter, Suzanne Patricia.
    Doctor Braude is identified with the Cambria County Medical Society, Pennsylvania State Medical Society, and the American Medical Association. He is a Republican, a member of the First Lutheran Church, and
