On Jan. 2, 1917, Doctor Leadbetter was married to Miss Bess Edith Good, a native of Spangler, and the daughter of A. L. and Guila (Cleminson) Good, residents of Lancaster, Pa. To Doctor and Mrs. Leadbetter two children have been born: Mark Renton, born Nov. 5, 1917; and Betty Edith, born Aug. 17 1924.
Doctor Leadbetter is affiliated with the following lodges and societies: Elks of Indiana, Pa., Kiwanis Club of Patton, Modern Woodmen of America, Knights of Columbus of Barnesboro, Delta Sigma Delta, American Dental Association, and State and Central Pennsylvania Dental Associations. Mrs. Leadbetter is a member of the Presbyterian Church, and he is a member of St. Edward's Catholic Church. They have a host of friends and acquaintances in Barnesboro and Cambria County.
George C. Hoppel ranks among the enterprising and successful business men of Patton, where he is engaged in the lumber business. He was born in Cambria County, Nov. 23, 1883, and is the son of Henry J. and Theresa (Ager) Hoppel.
Both Henry J. and Theresa (Ager) Hoppel were born in Cambria County. He died in 1898 and his widow resides at Carrollton, Pa. They were the parents of the following children: Harry and William, deceased; Albert, lives at Spangler, Pa.; Edward, lives at New Kensington, Pa.; Minnie, married Michael Beck, lives at New Kensington, Pa.; Frank lives at Ebensburg; Margaret, married E.
