1108 HISTORY OF CAMBRIA COUNTY

    Mr. Bearer was married first to Miss Margaret Mullen of Williamsport, Pa. She died May 11, 1922, leaving two daughters, Gretchen and Joan. In October, 1923, Mr. Bearer married Miss Ione Carter of St. Augustine, Fla. They have a daughter, Mary Ione Bearer.
    In politics Mr. Bearer is identified with the Democratic party, and he is serving as auditor of the Boro of Patton. He is a member of the Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. Mr. Bearer has an extensive acquaintance in Cambria County and is favorably known.
    The officers of the United Stated Trust Company of Johnstown are as follows: John H. Waters, president; John W. Waters, vice president and trust officer; John Dowling, vice president; Paul T. Bearer, vice president; George O. Suppes, vice president; I. E. Jendricks, secretary-treasurer; A. L. Schwing, assistant secretary-treasurer; and S. H. Hovanec, assistant treasurer. The directors are: John Burkhard, Paul T. Bearer, John C. Cosgrove, W. W. Campbell, A. M. Custer, J. C. Davies, John Dowling, P. S. Fisher, E. Arthur James, Fred Krebs, W. J. Kuntz, P. M. Price, George T. Robinson, T. K. Saylor, Norman Statler, George O. Suppes, H. L. Tredennick, Harry D. Thomas, R. R. Thiele, John W. Walters, John H. Waters, and Samuel B. Waters.




    Frank W. McKee is a reliable and successful young businessman of Johnstown, where he is manager of the American Life Insurance Company. He was born in this city, Nov. 27. 1900, and is the son of William R. and Ella Gertrude (Potter) McKee.
    William R. McKee, deceased, was a native of Johnstown. Throughout his entire life he was identified with the Cambria Steel Company and Later years served as purchasing agent. He was an extensive real estate owner and a prominent citizen of the community. He was a Republican and a member of the Methodist Church. Mr. McKee died Feb. 19, 1917, and is buried in Grandview Cemetery. His widow resides in this city. To Mr. and Mrs. McKee six children were born: R. Earl, lives at Morrellville; Florence, married J.C. Burgess, lives in Pittsburgh; George P., lives in Johnstown,; Clyde, lives in Franklin, Pa., Frank W., the subject of this sketch; and Anna May a student.
    Frank W. McKee was educated in the public schools of Johnstown and for several years was connected with the Cambria Steel Company. He
