at Camp Dix, N.J. In 1919 he again formed a partnership with Mr. Eicher in the garage business, and in Befruary, 1925, he bought Mr. Eicher's interest and it is now known as the Custer Garage. Mr. Custer does general repairing and employs three men. He carries a complete line of auto accessories and has storage facilities, and has a well established trade.
    In 1919 Mr. Custer was married to Mary W. Johnson, a daughter of Julian P. and Jennie V. (Penny) Johnson. Mr. and Mrs. Johnson reside at Sweethall, Va., where he is engaged in agriculture. To Mr. and Mrs. Custer two children have been born: Warren, born Oct. 22, 1920; and Ben Kelwyn, born Dec. 22, 1924.
    Mr. Custer is a Republican, a member of the Progressive Brethren Church, American Legion, Y.M.C.A., and Johnstown Motor Club.




    Dr. James E. Rishell, Doctor of Osteopathy, is among the prominent and highly esteemed young men of Johnstown, where he was born Aug. 13, 1901. He is the son of J.A. and Sarah (Wise) Rishell.
    J. A. Rishell, of Rishell Brothers Company, is one of the pioneer business men of Johnstown, where he has engaged in the piano business for more than 25 years. He was born at Clintondale, Pa., spent the early part of his life at Montoursville, and in 1899 removed to Johnstown, where he became associated with the J.M. Bunnell Piano Company. He later formed a partnership with his brother, S.A. Rishell, and they organized the Rishell Brothers Company, dealers in pianos and organs, 222 Bedford Street. Mr. Rishell is a Democrat, a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church and the Masonic Lodge. His wife is a native of Montoursville, Pa. James E., the subject of this sketch, is their only child.
    After completing his early schooling in Johnstown, Dr. James E. Rishell entered the University of Pittsburgh. He was graduated from Philadelphia Osteopathic College in 1925, after which he assumed the practice of Dr. A.G. Walmsley, Bethlehem, Pa., while the latter was studying in Europe. In October, 1925, Doctor Rishell engaged in practice in Johnstown. In 1925 he passed the Pennsylvania State Osteopathic Board and the New Jersey Medical State Board. He is identified with the Cambria County Osteopathic Association.
