In 1868, Mr. Pringle and Miss Emma Shyrock, daughter of the late William I. and Nancy Reyrt Shyrock, were married at Baker’s Furnace, Indiana County, by the Rev. Dr. Reuben A. Fink. Mrs. Pringle is a sister of George K. Shryock of Westmont. Mrs. Pringle survives her husband with two daughters, Miss Lydia Pringle, at home, and Maude, wife of John Housechild, or Reno.
