GEISEL - Catherine M., 82, Johnstown, died Dec. 30, 2002, at Select Specialty Care, Johnstown. Born Oct. 26, 1920, in Johnstown, daughter of the late Cortrell and Lillian (Beatty) Geisel. Preceded in death by sisters, Dorothy; and Ethel Tompkins; and nephew, Zane Tompkins. Survived by niece, Patricia, wife of Kalman Buchovecky, Rhode Island; nephew, Barry, married Cathy (Tilley), Johnstown; and niece, Linda, wife of Richard Swanhart, Florida. Also survived by Zane's widow, Jackie (Kimmel) of New Kensington. Member of Zion Lutheran Church. She was retired from the A&P food store, and worked for many years in this area. Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Geisel Funeral Home, 734 Bedford St., Dale. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Geisel-Devlin Memorial Chapel, the Rev. Wilbert Boerstler. Interment, Richland Cemetery. |
