MRS. M'CANS.
On New Year's day about 5 o'clock a.m., Mrs. McCans, wife of James P. McCans, who lives near St. Augustine, died of dropsy. She was aged about seventy-five years. She leaves a husband, two daughters and four sons to mourn her departure. The daughters are Mrs. John Dietrick, who lives near Patton, and Sister, Martina, of Greensburg, and the sons are Albert, who lives near St. Augustine, Jas. A. and Robt. J., who live in Patton, and Bennett, who formerly lived there, but is now located at Galestown, Potter county. Mrs. McCans, remains were laid to rest in the cemetery at St. Augustine, on Thursday at 9 a.m. The bereaved family have the heartfelt sympathy of the entire community in this, their sad hour of bereavement.
