Cora Gaston of 192 David St., died Wednesday at Memorial Hospital. She was 88. Her death ended a marriage union of 64 years with Roy G. Gaston, to whom she was married Aug. 20, 1914.

Gaston -- Mrs. Cora, 88, 192 David St., died May 29, 1979, at Memorial Hospital. Born Aug. 20, 1890, in Franklin Borough, daughter of Abraham and Mary (Paul) Custer. Preceded in death by parents; son, Kennard; two brothers and two sisters. Survived by husband, Roy G.; and daughter, C. Mardell, wife of J.W. Burrell, San Diego, Calif.; also five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Last surviving member of her immediate family. Member of Beulah United Methodist Church, Missionary Society, Fidelis Bible Class, Eastern Star and White Shrine of Jerusalam. Death ended a marriage union of 64 years. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Geisel-Kuhlman Funeral Home, Dale, where service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, the Rev. James Mowery. Interment, Richland Cemetery.
