Thomas Brown, 56 years old, a blacksmith at Piper’s mines, was found dead in bed about 10:30 Friday evening by his wife. Mr. Brown had worked all day Friday, went to the depot Friday evening to get a TRIBUNE and retired about 8:30 o’clock because of not feeling as well as usual. When his wife went to bed at 10:30 she found him dead. Dr. G. L. Yearick who was called, notified the Coroner.
The funeral of Mr. Brown took place today from St. Brigid’s Catholic Church. Mr. Brown leaves a widow, one son and one daughter. He had a brother Daniel Brown.
