DECAPITATED BY A TRAIN
Jacob Thomas, an Aged Citizen, Run Down by the
B & O Shifter Last Evening
[The story is about the same as Johnstown Democrat, except....] Coroner Miller learned that Mr. Thomas was highly respected by all who knew him and that he never drank a drop of liquor. He found $50 on the body and a note for $100 in the dead man's pockets. Mr. Thomas was seventy-seven years of age and is survived by the following children; Mrs. Hiram Shank, etc...... Mrs. Thomas, wife of the subject of this sketch, died about twelve years ago. |
