| CROSSMAN, Samuel, schoolmaster, of near Browns Mills in Summerhill Twp, Cambria County, and his daughter, aged about 15, died an awful and sudden death Sunday evening last. Both were standing in the door of their small frame house, when a large tree blown down by a storm fell on the house and broke through it, killing them instantly. Their bodies could not be removed until the tree was cut and taken off them. Mrs. Crossman, a younger daughter, and an unidentified boarder were also much injured, but not mortally. |
