Airwine METZ, one of Johnstown's oldest citizens died of general debility at the home of his daughter, Mrs. C. A. JAMES, Cambria Ave., 5th Ward, 3-4pm today. In his 85th yr, he had been confined to his room for a long time. The deceased was the father of Mrs. MASTERS, wife of Postmaster Samuel MASTERS, 437 Franklin St.; Mrs. Theodore JUDY, Horner St.; Mrs. Elizabeth SCOTT, Pittsburgh; Mrs. Ad PENROD Lorian; Mrs. JAMES, wife of James JAMES, with whom he has made his home, & Elsworth METZ, Pittsburgh. No definite arrangements have been made for the funeral. One of the oldest Methodists in the city and Rev. Dr. Thomas H. Woodring, of Franklin St. M.E. Church, will have charge of the services. |
