John A. Baker a lifelong resident of this place died at Saint Frances Hospital Pittsburgh at 3 o'clock Sunday morning. He was admitted to the institution June 4 suffering from a nervous breakdown. He was aged 60 years, 11 months and 5 days.
Deceased was born in Elder Township on August 11, 1855. He is survived by his wife and eight children as follows: Theresa, wife of E. J. Miller and Mary wife of Joseph Overberger of this place, Edna, Ella [Stella] and Annie at home.
Funeral services were held at 9 o'clock Wednesday morning with a requiem high mass at Saint Bernard's church. Interment was made at the church cemetery. |
