William D. McClelland, whose sudden death was announced in last evening's Tribune, was born in this place on November 28, 1830. On March 15, 1858, he was united in marriage with Elizabeth, daughter of Henry Klinefelter, of this place. She and five children survive. The latter are: Melissa, wife of John Sheehan of Coopersdale, engineer at Cambria's pumping station; Millie, wife of Richard Rutledge, of the Adams Express Office; Mary, wife of William Gruber, a roller at the Gautier; and Willis G. and Lydia C. who are unmarried and at home. |
