ISAAC L. YODER DEAD
Well Known Somerset County Farmer Passed Away Yesterday Afternoon of Dropsy
Isaac L. Yoder, aged 71 years, a prominent Somerset County farmer, died at the Upper Yoder farm between Davidsville and Thomas' Mills, yesterday afternoon after a long illness of dropsy. He is survived by his widow, two sons and four daughters. The funeral will take place from the Davidsville Lutheran Church tomorrow afternoon, the funeral party to leave the Yoder home at 1 o'clock.

ISAAC L. YODER
Isaac L. Yoder, whose death occurred Monday, was born in Somerset County October 2, 1849, the son of Levi and Elizabeth (Kaufman) Yoder, his mother being a daughter of Isaac Kaufman, one of the pioneer residents of that county. Isaac L. Yoder and Miss Kate Fender, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Fender, were married in October, 1870, and they planned to celebrate their golden wedding anniversary this month. Mrs. Yoder survives her husband with the following children: Pollie, wife of J. J. Stahl; David, intermarried with Emma Livingston; Annie, wife of U. S. G. Blough; John, intermarried with Pollie Custer; Minnie, wife of I. A. Risch, and Miss Sara Yoder, at home. One daughter died some years ago. In addition to his widow, sons and daughters, Mr. Yoder is survived by 28 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

I. L. Yoder was born on a farm three miles north of Davidsville and always lived in that vicinity. In politics he was a Republican and served in Conemaugh Township as Justice of the Peace and Assessor for a number of years. He belonged to the Benscreek Lutheran congregation and the funeral services at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon will be in charge of the Rev. R. L. Lubold, of the Davidsville Church, where the eulogy will be given. Burial will be made in the Kaufman Cemetery, near Davidsville. Isaac Yoder was a brother of Levi. L. Yoder, Sallie, wife of Samuel Mishler, and Pollie, wife of Moses Mishler, all of near Tire Hill, Somerset County.
