Charles Gauntner.
Charles Gauntner, whose death at his home in Munster Township has been noted in The Tribune, is survived by his wife, who was Miss Susan Helsel and to whom he was married about thirty-five years ago; one daughter, Mrs. Annie Wharton, of Cresson; six sons--Albert, of Blue Knob; James and Charles, of Cresson, and Joseph, Harry, and William, at home. Mr. Gauntner's mother, Mrs. Barbara Gauntner, is also living, her home being at Altoona, and the following brothers and sisters likewise survive him: William, of Johnstown; Joseph, of St. Augustine; Albert, of Ashville; Mrs. Minnie Kibler, of Hastings, and Mrs. Mary Yahner, Mrs. Matilda Wengenart, Mrs. Susan Wolford, and Mrs. Theresa Huber, all of Altoona. A feature of Mr. Gauntner's funeral was that his six sons acted as pallbearers. |
