GRAMBLING - John Roscoe, 52, South Fork R. D., at 11 p. m. Aug. 10, 1949, at his home. Son of Jacob and Rosanna (Custer) Grambling. Born Feb. 12, 1897, in Gramlingtown. Was a coal miner. Survived by widow, Stella (Varner) Grambling; these children: Mrs. Shirley Myers, St. Michael; John, Ray and Betty, all at home; brothers, Albert, George and Elmer, all of South Fork R. D.; sisters, Misses Bertha and Clara Grambling and Mrs. Stella Sanders, all of South Fork R. D. Was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren Church in South Fork and the IOOF, Knights of Malta and United Mine Workers of America, South Fork. Services 2 p. m. Sunday, E. U. B. Church, South Fork, Rev. G. K. Hetrick. The remains will be taken to the church at 12 o'clock noon (DST) Sunday. Burial, Mt. Hope Cemetery. Friends will be received at the late home.
