Edward Horner, who was born in this city 75 years ago, died at his home in Martinsburg, W. Va, last night. He had been ill for a long time with asthma. The deceased was a son of the late Jacob Horner and was born in Hornerstown, this city. He was a brother of Watson Horner and Allison Horner, who are residing in this city. Edward Horner worked for some time with the Cambria Iron Works before removing to Martinsburg about 1880. He is survived by his widow and two sons. Mr and Mrs. George Walters of the Seventh Ward will attend the funeral in Martinsburg. |
