GINDLESPERGER - Charles H., 40, of 1707 Ferndale Avenue, died at 11:15 a. m. Oct. 31, 1953, in Memorial Hospital. Born May 21, 1913, in Conemaugh Township, Somerset County, son of Harry and Dillie (Kaufman) Gindlesperger. Married to former Mary Ellen Seigh, who survives. Also survived by mother; son, Donald, at home; four brothers - Robert, Hollsopple R. D. 2; Lemon, Hollsopple; Korie, Elbert Street, and Ray, Hollsopple R. D. 2, and sister, Mrs. Mary Mishler, Hollsopple R. D. 2. Member of St. David's Lutheran Church, Davidsville; Somerset American Legion Post 181; Johnstown Post 155, VFW; Johnstown Turnverein and Somerset Lodge, FOE. Veteran of World War II. Friends received in John Henderson Funeral Home, 215 Central Avenue, where service will be held at 2 p. m. Tuesday, Rev. Russell T. Shilling. Interment, Grandview Cemetery. Military rites by Johnstown Post 155, VFW. All members of Military Order of the Coolie meet at 8 p. m. Monday at funeral home for memorial service for deceased, recently elected seam squirrel. |
