Jonathan Helsel
Gangrene of the left foot culminated at 8:15 o'clock last evening in the death of Jonathan Helsel about two miles from Elton, ages sixty-six years, three months and twenty-six days. His foot became infected about two weeks ago, the poison spreading rapidly through his body.
Besides his wife, Mr. Helsel is survived by one brother, Emanuel, of Cessna, Bedford County and one sister Mrs. Mary Stull, of Akron, O. He was the father of the following: S.H. Helsel, of Dale, Johnstown; George W., J.E., and J. W., all of Elton and Earl and Mary both at home.
Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning at the Elton United Evangelical Church with Interment in the Dunmyer Cemetery. |
