MRS. MARY OVENBERGER, 75, SUMMONED BY DEATH
Aged Northern Cambria Co. Woman Dies, Following Illness of Heart Trouble
HASTINGS, Jan. 6--Mrs. Mary Ovenberger, aged 75, widow of Joseph Ovenberger, died yesterday morning at 4 o'clock at her home in Susquehanna Township, after an illness of heart trouble. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hoover, both deceased, who came to this country from Germany. The Hoover family settled in Elder Township. The deceased is survived by the following children: John Ovenberger, of Hastings; Mrs. Harry Kline, of Carrolltown; Miss Rose Ovenberger, at home; Mrs. Edward Lantzy, of Denver, Colo.; Mrs. Walter Miller, of Hastings; Joseph Ovenberger, of Hastings; and Casper and Anthony, both at home.
She also leaves these brothers and sisters: Gust Huber, of Patton; Mrs. Helen Ovenbergerger, of Patton; Mrs. Charles Becker, of St. Boniface; Mrs. Harry Thomas and Mrs. Rose Hupfer, both of Elder Township, and Mrs. Michael McAnulty, of Carrolltown. Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow morning in St. Bernard's Catholic Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery in charge of Undertaken H.J. Easly. |
