PATTON, Jan. 11--Aaron Weakland, aged 62, a former resident of Patton, died Saturday morning in the City hospital, at Akron, O., following a brief illness. The deceased was born in Elder township, being a son of Anslem and Matilda (Luther) Weakland, both deceased. His wife, Mrs. Mary (Smith) Weakland, also preceded him to the grave.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Bertha Schwabland, of Baltimore, Md.; six grandchildren and these brothers and sisters: Edward, of Akron, O.; Mrs. M.J. Ryan, of Troy, Pa.; Samuel, Emma and Malvina, all of Patton.

The body was removed yesterday to the home of his sisters, Misses Malvina and Emma Weakland of this place.

Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock in St. Mary's Catholic church. Interment will be in St. Benedict's Catholic church Cemetery at Carrolltown.
