DIED NEAR SOUTH FORK.

W. L. Thomas, of Uniondale, Succumbs to Dropsy, Aged Sixty-seven.

South Fork, Sept. 19. - Dropsy caused the death of Wm. L. Thomas Monday evening at his home in Uniondale, a village near this place. William Thomas, previous to his fatal illness, was employed as a miner by the Pennsylvania Coal & Coke Company. He was sixty-seven years of age and one of the most prominent Odd Fellows in this section.

Mr. Thomas is survived by his wife and the following children: Fred, of Ehrenfeld; Arthur, of Tioga County, and Mrs. Jennie Richardson, of Ehrenfeld.

The remains were prepared for burial by Undertaker George and funeral services were held at the Summerhill Lutheran Church yesterday afternoon. Burial was made in the adjoining cemetery.
