DIES OF TYPHOID.

Elton Man Believed to Have Contracted Disease in Conemaugh.

Elton, Sept. 26. - John Clark died at his home here last Saturday evening, of typhoid fever, which he is thought to have contracted while in Conemaugh a few weeks ago. Mr. Clark formerly lived in Conemaugh and moved here only a short time ago. He took sick shortly after his arrival here.

John Clark was twenty-eight years of age and a son of Mr. and Mrs. Noah Clark, now residing in Johnstown with their son William. He was married to a Miss Moyer, of this place, who survives him with one child. A sister, Mrs. A. D. Hoffman, of Grumblingtown, also survives.

The funeral cortege left the house Monday afternoon and services were held in the Noon Church in Conennaugh Township, the Rev. J. H. Boozer preaching the sermon. Burial was made in the Noon Cemetery.
