| Mr. Lawrence Stich, Sr., of Carrolltown, aged 66 years, died at his home on Friday evening last, after a lingering illness from a complication of diseases. He was born in Germany and came to Cambria county in 1852, residing there from that time on. He was by trade a cooper. He is survived by his wife, who was Miss Fredericka Binder. These children out of a family of fifteen still survive: Otto, Andrew, Benno, Irene, Annie, Bertha, Boniface and Anton, all residing at home, and Herman, of Altoona. The deceased was a member of St. Benedict's Catholic church of Carrolltown, and his funeral took place on Monday morning. |
