| [beginning cut off] . . . conducted the funeral services yesterday afternoon over the remains of Mrs. Georgiana Miles-Thomas, at the home of her son, Street-Commissioner Edward J. Miles, No. 46 River street. A mixed quartet sang, "Nearer My God, to Thee" and "Abide with Me." Samuel Miles, of Allentown, a son of the deceased, was at the funeral returning home last night. The pallbearers were Henry Clark, Charles Caddy, John Dunford, Benjamin Hoyland, and John T. Werry. Interment was made in Sandyvale Cemetery, where the remains of the deceased's first husband repose. |
