McELWEE, Gladys. South Fork, July 29: Acute articular rheumatism, from which she had been suffering for 24 days, caused the death of Miss Gladys McElwee, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry McElwee, of this place, at 1:45 o'clock yesterday morning. She was 12 years old. Besides her father and mother, the girl is survived by the following brothers and sisters, all at home: Harry, Jr., Ward, Elizabeth and Martha.
Her father is an employee of the Stineman Coal Mining Company. Miss McElwee was a member of the South Fork M. E. Sunday School. Funeral services for her will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon in the M. E. Church, with the Rev. J. C. Brown in charge. Burial will be in the South Fork Cemetery. |
