Armstrong, Richard "Houston," 59, of Vine Street Towers, died Jan. 10 1997, at Lee Hospital. Born Jan. 7, 1938, in Johnstown, son of Richard and Frances (Harlan) Armstrong. Preceded in death by parents and brother, Thomas. Survived by these children: Jackie Albright, Chris, Richard Jr., Michael, Tracey, William, and Carrie. Also survived by 7 grandchildren. Richard also will be sadly missed by his sisters: Bernadine Himes and Mary Kinsey, both of Johnstown. Member of St. John Gualbert Cathedral, Catholic War Vets, and Austrian Hall. Family receiving friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Edward Moskal Funeral Home, 79 J St. at Barron Ave., where wake service will be held in the evening. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. John Gualbert Cathedral, the Rev. Msgr. George B. Flinn, VG, officiating. Burial, church cemetery. |
