DiFlori - Frances S., 94, Richland, went to be with the Lord on April 25, 2020. She was born on August 12, 1925, in Johnstown. Daughter of the late Samuel and Isabelle. (Diguardi) Torina. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Emory F. DiFlori; son, Mark, and sister, Sarah Hunt. Survived by her loving daughter, Rita B. DiFlori, Richland; grandchildren, Aaron, Jordan, Patrick, Isaac, and Theresa DiFlori; great-granddaughter, Myra DiFlori; sister, Marie Cobaugh, Geistown; daughter-in-law, Debra DiFlori, Acosta, PA, and many friends. Frances was a graduate of Johnstown High School. She was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church. Frances retired after 19 years of service as a cook for Richland School District. She and her late husband, Emory enjoyed taking bus trips to Atlantic City. Frances enjoyed cooking and made many great meals, including her lasagna. She will be remembered for her kind and loving nature and will be sadly missed by all. Due to current health conditions, there will be no public viewing. A private funeral service will be held at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with Fr. David S. Peles. Private committal will be at Richland Mausoleum. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Benedict Catholic Church, 2310 Bedford Street, Johnstown, PA 15904 in memory of Frances. |
