MLEY---Bernadine T., 88, Johnstown, died April 17, 2020, in Johnstown. Born October 10, 1931, in Johnstown, daughter of Frank T. and Lucy (Fratrich) Kupina. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Charles Mley; sister, Wilma Louise; Vinnie Skelly; brother, Francis Kupina and William Kupina. Survived by son, William Skelly and daughter-in-law, Elva and grandson, Josh; niece, Carol Hoon and husband, Wade; niece, Nancy Morse and husband, Mike. Last surviving member of her immediate family. 1949 graduate of Johnstown Catholic High School. In her yearbook, these things were said about her: "An all around girl with twinkling eyes....bicycle enthusiast...loves clothes....sterling character...winsome." She married on August 25, 1953 to Charles Mley. Bernadine worked her whole career at Troy Laundry as an office manager. Lifelong devout member of St. Therese Catholic Church. She enjoyed baking cookies and cakes for other family and friends. Private entombment at Grandview Mausoleum. Memorial Mass and a celebration of Bernadine’s life will be held in the future and details will be announced at that time.
