ADAMS - Alice Ada “Babe”, 91, of Nanty Glo, passed away July 2, 2020, surrounded by her loving daughters, Ginger and Diana; and her granddaughter, Bobbie Jo. Born March 29, 1929 in Nanty Glo, daughter of the late Joseph W. and Alice (Markley) Little. Preceded in death by husband, George S. “Red” Adams; son, Douglas J. Adams; and son in law, Leon “Nooter” Musselman. Last surviving member of her immediate family. Survived by children, Georgia (David) Stanton; Ada (Rick) McCullough; Daniel (Deb) Adams; John Quincy (Mary "Punken") Adams; Bernard G. (Paula) Adams; Gwen (Richard) Karstetter; Diana Musselman; Lanette (Chuck) Nelson; Ginger (Steve) Downes; and Cory (Anne) Adams. 28 Grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; and 5 step grandchildren. Alice was a devoted mother and grandmother. She loved all of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren with all her heart. Her favorite saying was, “I love you a bushel and a peck… and a hug around the neck.” We will miss you mom! ... from your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Thank you mom for everything you have done for every one of us. Thank You for being you! Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo.
