Remarks:   BUNK - Anna Regina "Jean,” 87, passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at Sunrise Senior Living, Abington Pennsylvania. Anna was born on April 2, 1933, in South Fork, Pennsylvania. She married the late William Anthony "Bill" Bunk on April 30, 1960 and spent most of her adult life in Central New Jersey, where she and Bill raised their four children. After retirement, they moved to Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, where they enjoyed traveling, reading, listening to music, and attending church and community events. Anna recently moved to Abington to be closer to her daughter Carolyn and son William. She was a resident at Sunrise Senior Living where she enjoyed meeting new friends, walking the hallways, reading, and watching the Hallmark channel. Anna will be remembered by all for her gentle, caring, kind and thoughtful spirit. She worked as a bookkeeper for many years. She was dedicated to the Catholic faith and used her beautiful singing voice in the church choir. She loved to visit her large family in Western Pennsylvania and was known for bringing her delicious apple pie to almost any gathering. She was very proud and supportive of the education and achievements of her four children and six grandchildren, often traveling for many hours to be present at a sporting event, concert, recital, or graduation. Preceded in death by her husband, William Anthony Bunk, parents, William Regis and Martha Elizabeth (Plummer) Young, brothers William Joseph Young, John R Young, and Raymond E Young, and sisters Mary Theresa Croyle and Julia M Varljen. She is survived by her four children, Susan Fleck (Scott), Catherine Bunk (Gilbert Turlip Jr), William Bunk, and Carolyn Davis (Christopher), six grandchildren, Matthew Fleck (Meredith Willis), Alexander Fleck, Andrew Bunk, Allison Bunk, Sean Davis, and Margaret Davis, and many nieces and nephews. Her quiet presence at family gatherings will be sorely missed. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, South Fork; Father Joseph C. Nale, celebrant. Committal, St. James Cemetery, South Fork. Arrangements and obituary provided by Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc. Newspaper date unknown
