Lucy Tenant, wife of John Tenant, of No. 416 1/2 Power st, Sixteenth Ward, died at the Memorial Hospital Wednesday morning of dropsy. She had been at the hospital several days.
Mrs. Tenant was thirty-seven years of age and was born and reared in England. She is survived by her husband and three small children, the youngest is of whom but three months old.
The remains were conveyed from the hospital to the Tenant residence yesterday and the funeral took place from the house at 2 oclock this afternoon, Rev. Stephen A. Potter, pastor of St. Marks Episcopal church conducting the obsequies. Interment will be made in Grandview Cemetery. |
