M. Zeno, the subject of this sketch; M. Ivo, a World war veteran, having served with the Aviation Corps at Kelly Field, is a professor at Pittsburgh Academy; Hildegard, in religious life is known as Sister Mary Martha; Helen, at home; and Agnes Eulalia, married James Benson, lives in Philadelphia.
    M. Zeno Kirsch received his education in the schools of Spangler, and at an early age became associated in the contracting business with his father in the building of railroad trestles and coal tipples. He later learned the plumbing trade and spent several years in British Columbia and California. He returned to Spangler in January, 1920, at which time he established the Economy Plumbing Company.
    On Sept. 29, 1913, Mr. Kirsch was married to Miss Clara S. Sharabaugh, the daughter of James and Rosalia (Luther) Sharabaugh, natives of Carroll Township, Cambria County, both now deceased. Two children have been born to Mr. and Mrs. Kirsch: Dolores, born Nov. 20, 1914; and Quentin Daryld, born Oct. 4, 1916.
    Mr. Kirsch is a Republican, a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, Elks Lodge and Chamber of Commerce. He stands high in the community and has many friends and acquaintances.




    Timothy J. Sullivan, supervising principal of the Spangler schools, is a representative citizen and widely known educator of Cambria County. He was born at Williamsport, Pa., Nov. 26, 1889, and is a son of John P. and Ella M. (Casey) Sullivan.
    John P. Sullivan was born at Williamsport, Nov. 24, 1862, and died April 4, 1921. During his entire life he was interested in the milling business and in later years was employed as an inspector by the Williamsport Machine Company. He was a Democrat and a member of the Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. His widow was born at Cahoes, N. Y., July 27, 1866. To Mr. and Mrs. Sullivan the following children were born: John, lives at Williamsport; T. J., the subject of this sketch; Claire, a school teacher at Williamsport; Marian, deceased; Francis, Bernard, and Leo, the latter a World war veteran, live at Williamsport; Paul, Eugene, Helen, Alice, and Mary, all at home.
