He began the practice of his profession at Ligonier, Pa., where he was a member of the Borough Council. At one time he had offices in the Diamond Bank Building, Pittsburgh, Pa., and later in the Ohio Building, Toledo, Ohio. In 1901 he opened offices in Johnstown and for 25 years has had his offices in the Jordan Building, Johnstown, Pa.
    Doctor Morgan was married twice, first to Mary Jane Pugh of Stoyestown, Pa., and later to Edith M. Husband of Mt. Pleasant, Pa. By the first marriage three children were born: William S., who died in infancy and is buried at Stoyestown, Pa.; Margaret L., a dental hygienist, at present practicing in New York City, N. Y., and who was formerly connected with the faculty of the Pittsburgh Dental College. She was educated at Seton Hill Seminary, Greensburg, Pa.; Penn Hall, Chambersburg, Pa.; Margaret Morrison School, Pittsburgh, Pa.; Albany State College, Albany, N. Y., and graduated from Toledo High School, Toledo, Ohio, and the Rochester Dental Dispensary, Rochester, N. Y.; Richard P., graduated from the Johnstown High School, class of '17, Johnstown, Pa.; attended Seton Hill Academy, Greensburg, Pa.; Culver Military Academy, Culver, Ind., and in 1922 graduated with honors from Princeton University, Princeton, N. J., where he was awarded the honor of a membership in the Phi Beta Kappa fraternity. Later he attended the Dental School of Harvard University, Boston, Mass., for two years, and was graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, Pa., in June, 1926. He has a fellowship in the Rivas' Bacteriological Society. He is a member of Sunnehanna Country Club, Johnstown, Pa.; Cambria Lodge No. 278, F. and A. M.; Massachusetts Consistory thirty-second degree Masons; Aleppo Temple Shrine; the Cloister Inn Club, Princeton, N. J., and Zeta Chapter Psi Omega dental fraternity. Both Margaret L. and Richard P. Morgan are member of the M. E. Church.
    Doctor Morgan is a Republican, a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church and Masonic fraternity, being a member of Somerset Lodge No. 358, F. and A. M., located at Somerset, Pa.; Portage Chapter No. 195, Royal Arch Masons, Johnstown, Pa.; Cambria Council No. 32, Royal and Select Master Masons, Johnstown, Pa.; Oriental Commandery No. 61, Knight Templar, Johnstown, Pa.; Constantine Conclave No. 17, Red Cross of Constantine, Johnstown, Pa.; Valley of Harrisburg Consistory, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, thirty-second degree Masons; Harrisburg, Pa.;
