    Mr. Larimer is a Democrat and is a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church. He is affiliated with the following organizations: Highland Lodge No. 428, I. O. O. F.; Cresson Encampment No. 240, I. O. O. F.; Lady Patton Rebekah Lodge No. 182, I.O.O.F.; Sons of Union Veterans, Johnstown Camp; Mountain Lodge No. 84, K. of P.; Patton Lodge No. 688, F. and A. M.; Williamsport Consistory, S.P.R.S.; Jaffa Temple. A. A.O. N. M. S.; Mountain Forest No. 44, Tall Cedars; Acacia Club, Williamsport; Jaffa Shrine Club, Altoona; National League of Masonic Clubs; Pennsylvania Society, New York; Daughters of Veterans, Naomi Parsons Tent No. 15; Temple Club, Patton; Johnstown Motor Club, A.A.A.; Patton Fire Company; Concord Grange No. 1125; Patton Sportsman's Association; and is president of the Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Larimer is vice president of the Cambria County Bankers' Association, president of the Patton Wholesale Grain Company, president of the Nanty Glo Water Company, and president of the Cambria County School Directors.




    Rev. John Roger Thomas, of Ebensburg, is well known and highly esteemed throughout Cambria County. He was born at Radnor, Ohio, March 26, 1878, and is the son of Rev. Daniel and Jane (Rogers) Thomas.
    Rev. Daniel Thomas, deceased, was a veteran of the Civil war. He was born at Oak Hill, Ohio, as was his wife. He spent his childhood at Oak Hill and was graduated from Marietta College, Ohio. He was connected with various churches of Ohio, Wisconsin and Nebraska, being affiliated with the Welsh Presbyterian Church. Rev. Thomas died Feb. 22, 1913, and is buried at Wild Rose, Wis. His wife died Nov. 16, 1915. To Rev. and Mrs. Thomas three children were born: Mrs. James E. Davis, lives at Wild Rose, Wis.; Harry R., lives at Fondulac, Wis.; and Rev. John Roger, the subject of this sketch.
    Rev. John Roger Thomas grew up at Wild Rose, Wis. He attended Ripon Preparatory School from 1894 until 1897, and was graduated from Ripon College (Wis.) In 1901. He then entered Princeton Theological School, from which he received his degree in 1904. In 1902 he received his Master of Arts degree from Princeton University also, receiving the
