degree from Woodrow Wilson, who was then serving his first term as president of the university. From 1904 until 1906 Rev. Thomas served the Welsh Presbyterian Church at Youngstown, Ohio. During this time he received his ordination into the Welsh Presbyterian Church. This ordination took place at Racine, Wis. From 1906 until 1913 he served the Welsh Presbyterian Church at Pittsburgh, and in the latter year became pastor of the Congregational Church at Ebensburg, in which capacity he has since faithfully served. Frank J. Myers, court stenographer and law librarian of Cambria County, is among the highly esteemed and well known citizens of Ebensburg. He was born at Tyrone, Pa., Aug. 9, 1887, and is the son of William and Mary (Bube) Myers. William Myers, deceased, was a native of Germany. He was a baker by trade and about 1865 emigrated to this country and settled in Philadelphia, later removing to Lancaster, Pa., where he conducted a bakery business. He then lived at Tyrone and Carrolltown, where he died in 1893. His widow died at Carrolltown on Jan. 23, 1926. To Mr. and Mrs. Myers the following children were born: Charles J., lives in Johnstown; Mrs. Albert Blum, lives at Carrolltown, Pa.; A.P., lives at Carrolltown, Pa.; Mrs. John Lawrence, lives at Emeigle, Pa.; and Frank J., the subject of this sketch. Frank J. Myers received his early education in the public schools and attended State Normal School at Indiana, Pa.
