County, Pa., and residents of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Mr. and Mrs. Dilling have five children: Dorothy, Anna, Chalmer, George and Catherine, all students. F.T. Fitzharris, civil and mining engineer with the firm of Cosgrove-Meehan Coal Company, is a prominent young business man of Johnstown. He was born at Gallitzin, Pa., Dec. 21, 1882, and is a son of Michael and Julia (McCarthy) Fitzharris. Michael Fitzharris, deceased, was a representative of the second generation of his family in this country, they tracing their ancestry to Ireland. Michael Fitzharris moved to Tarentum, Allegheny County, in 1908, and from there to Crafton, Pa., where he retired. He died in 1916, and his wife in 1918. Both are buried in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Gallitzin, Pa. To this union 10 childeren were born: Mary, married B. Farley, of Philadelphia. He died and is buried in Philadelphia, and she resides in Crafton; Alice, married A.B. Clark, lives in Trenton, N.J., where he is superintendent of the Pennsylvania Railroad; Clara, married Joseph McMenamin, of Philadelphia. He is deceased and she resides in Pittsburgh; John, lives in Philadelphia, where he is associated in business with Mullen & Company, investment securities, Stock Exchange Building; William, engaged in the oil business, lives at Crafton, Pa.; Edward, died in 1904 and is buried in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Gallitzin, Pa.; F.T., the subject of this sketch; Cecelia, married J.M. David, of Lock Haven, Pa., a constructing engineer for the Pennsylvania Railroad, resides at Sharpsburg, Pa.; Joseph C., a sketch of whom appears below; and Helen, married C.V. Wilt, resides in Crafton, where he is mechanical engineer with the McIntosh-Hemphill Company, of Pittsburgh. Joseph C. Fitzharris, deceased, was a veteran of the World war.
