Frank Happe is a substantial citizen of Johnstown, where he is identified with the Johnstown Tribune Publishing Company as night office manager. He is the son of William H. and Minerva (Betts) Happe. William H. Happe is well and favorably known in Johnstown. To Mr. and Mrs. William H. Happe have been born three children: John B., connected with the Swank Hardware Company, Johnstown; Marion, married Bert Becker, lives at Greensburg, Pa.; and Frank, the subject of this sketch. After completing his schooling at Johnstown, Frank Happe was employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad freight office for13 years. He was then associated with the Cambria Steel Company, the First National Bank of Johnstown when he accepted his present position. Mr. Happe is a member of the First Lutheran Church, Sons of Veterans and Junior Order of United American Mechanics. He is a Republican. Dr. Louis A. Wesner, a physician and surgeon of Johnstown, is well known throughout the community both as a successful man in his profession and as an excellent citizen. He was born in Clearfield County, Pa., April 28, 1885, and is the son of Dr. Michael Augustine and Anne Elizabeth (Walters) Wesner. Dr. Michael Augustine Wesner, deceased, was a prominent pioneer physician and surgeon of Johnstown. His wife resides in this city. Dr. Louis A. Wesner was graduated from the public schools of Johnstown and St. Vincent's College, after which he received his degree in 1910. The following year was spent as an interne at McKinley Hospital, Trenton, N.J. Doctor Wesner has taken post graduate work in the New York Post Graduate School, New York City. He has engaged in practice in Johnstown since 1910 and has offices at 224 Franklin Street. |
