    On Aug. 9, 1907, Mr. Hanna was married to Miss Frances M. Habt, of Hanlon, W.Va., a daughter of James and Agnes (Pernines) Habt. They have two children: Arthur and Mary.
    Mr. Hanna is a Republican, a member of the Presbyterian Church, and belongs to the Masonic Lodge, Blue Lodge, Chapter, Council and Knights Templar. He is an ambitious and progressive young business man, whose success in life is practically assured.




    William H. Thiele, of the Thiele Construction Company, Johnstown, is esteemed throughout Cambria County as a prominent and successful business man. He was born in Johnstown, Nov. 15, 1882, and is a son of Herman and Amelia (Keidel) Thiele.
    Herman Thiele, founder of the Thiele Construction Company, is a native of Saxony, Germany. After their marriage Mr. and Mrs. Thiele emigrated to this country in 1881 and settled in Johnstown, where he immediately organized this company. He lives retired at St. Petersburg, Fla. To Mr. and Mrs. Thiele the following children were born: R. R., who is connected with the Thiele Construction Company; Anna, married Karl Schwing, lives in Johnstown, and they have a daughter, Lillian, who married Charles Rose; William H., the subject of this sketch; Mary, married P.H. Gross, lives in Johnstown, and they have two children, Richard and Virginia Jane; Lena, married O. L. Princler, lives in Johnstown; Minnie, married E. F. Mills, lives in Johnstown, and they have the following children: William, Robert, Donald, Dorothy and Mildred.
    William H. Thiele has always lived in Johnstown. After completing his schooling he became associated in business with his father, who has been retired since 1918. The Thiele Construction Company specializes in the erection of fireproof construction work and employs approximately 75 men. The following buildings are among those constructed by this concern in Johnstown: Lee-Strauss Company, Johnstown Dry Goods Company, Evangelical Church, Park Theatre, the Rothstein Building and St. Casimer's Catholic Church.
    Mr. Thiele was married June 30, 1910, to Miss Catherine Gearhardt,
