In June, 1921, Mr. Conway was married to Miss Clara Kehoe, the daughter of Daniel and Amelia Kehoe of Johnstown. They have two children: John, born April 12; and Mary Louise, born March 16, 1925. William F. Lewis, vice president of the Crystal Oil and Gas Company, whose offices are at 605 U. S. National Bank Building, Johnstown, was born in Bolivar, Westmoreland County, Pa., June 26 1892. He is a son of John W. and Eliza Jane (Reynolds) Lewis. John W. Lewis, deceased, was born in Bolivar, Pa. He began life as a farmer, learned the cabinet making trade and was also a miner. He died in March, 1922, and is burier in Bolivar. He was a Republican, serving as Republican committeeman, and a member of the Evangelical Church. His widow, a native of Saltsburg, Pa., resides in Bolivar. To Mr. and Mrs. Lewis three children were born: William F., the subject of this sketch; Elizabeth, married Albert Singer, resided in Bolivar, where he is connected with the Pennsylvania Railroad; and May, married William Colley, resides at Roberts Station, Somerset County, Pa., where Mr. Cooley follows farming. William F. Lewis was educated in the public schools of his native town and was graduated from the Bolivar High School in 1911, after which he taught school for two terms in Indiana County. After that he was with the Pennsylvania Railroad as a clerk at Bolivar, later being appointed chief clerk or assistant agent at Blairsville intersection. In 1918 he came to Johnstown and accepted a position with the Cambria Steel Company as an inspector. Later he returned to the Pennsylvania Railroad as a clerk in their Johnstown ticket office. During his spare time Mr. Lewis took correspondence courses in accounting and in 1921 became connected with Harry Correll & Company, public accountants, where he remained until 1925, when he accepted a position with the Crystal Oil & Gas Company as an accountant. In January, 1926, he was elected vice president of the company. In June, 1913, Mr. Lewis was united in marriage with Miss Mary E.
